According to sobohobos.com, a Web site run by southbounders, in 2004 only about 233 hikers traveled south and only 45 of them completed the hike. That means that only one in seven hikers who completes the A.T. has done what Walker has done.
New look!
Maybe you noticed a few changes around here. Maybe you didn't. In any case Sobohobos.com got a little bit of a facelift. We've done a bit of "winter cleaning", if you will, to get things ready for the next batch of Southbounders - the upcoming Class of '06.
You should be able to do everything you used to. Upload pictures, post stories about how Barrell Roll fell down a mountain, you know, all the essentials. Enjoy your stay, and please let us know if you have any questions about Sobohobos!
