Waynesboro, VA is a great trail town! Everyone has been super nice to us from the free ride to town by a trail angel to the free place to camp behind the YMCA. Our $2 shower at the Y was even paid for this month by a trail angel. Heading out to catch a high school football game tonight...GO WAYNESBORO! The Shenendoah's were beautiful. Crappy weather the first two days but incredible the remainder of the week. Saw 2 bears, heard a third and saw a ton of deer. Looking forward to what the rest of VA has to offer. I've been doing bigger miles lately...20's+ in hopes of being home for Thanksgiving this year. 848 miles to go, about 6 weeks left. Southward!
